Chemical Composition

EN15 carbon steel carbon content is from 0.30-0.40 %. There is a high manganese content of 1.30-1.70 % which makes the material hard. EN 15 has P & S content of 0.06 % max. Steel can be damaged by a high amount of P and S, causing it to break at low-stress forces.
